Why Us?

To encourage the community to be thyroid disease aware. If your thyroid isn't working well; neither are you! Paisley Butterfly 13 founding organizer, Latrece Johnson, is the facilitator for the Mobile, AL chapter of ThyCa, Inc. ThyCa, Inc. (Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc.) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (tax ID #52-2169434) of thyroid cancer survivors, family members, and health care professionals dedicated to support, education, and communication for thyroid cancer survivors, their families and friends. ThyCa sponsers Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, year-round awareness activities, and thyroid cancer research fundraising and research grants.
