At FNB, we believe that doing the right thing for our customers starts with making our communities even better places to live and work - and that the best way to do that is to get involved.
From financial support to employee volunteerism, FNB is actively engaged with the projects, organizations and decisions that shape the regions where we do business. We empower local leadership, so you can be sure FNB is aware of the issues facing your community and is focused on making an impact where it matters most.
Corporate Responsibility
As an integral partner and valued leader in the markets we serve, FNB strives to make a positive impact on our customers, communities, employees and shareholders through forward-looking and sustainable social, environmental and governing initiatives. Our Corporate Responsibility Report embodies our Company's commitment to doing the right thing and making a difference. Financial Support
FNB has provided millions of dollars toward thousands of community initiatives across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Through sponsorships and charitable contributions, we support a wide range of organizations including:
Chambers of Commerce
Charities
Schools
Athletics
Economic Development Groups
Community Service Agencies
And more
Community Development
FNB also delivers the capital, resources and expertise that are vital to economic expansion in our regions. That starts with a comprehensive range of personal and business banking products and services and a focus on our customers’ needs. But it also incorporates a commitment to investing in our communities that is at the core of how we define success.
FNB offers and participates in a number of programs designed to strengthen the communities we serve:
Financial education workshops on topics including home buying, budgeting and saving
FNB's proprietary Home Ownership and Home Rehabilitation Programs, built to help low-to-moderate income individuals and families achieve the dream of home ownership
Small Business Association Preferred Lender
Low Income Housing Tax Credits
Educational Improvement Tax Credits
And more
We work closely with our communities to ensure our efforts are effective. In addition to collaborating with economic development groups, FNB operates regional Community Bank Boards which are comprised of members of our local communities. To learn more about the Community Bank Boards and the roles they play in key regional initiatives, please review the Community Bank Board Charter.
Leadership and Service
Service is one of FNB’s core values. Our dedication to the communities we serve starts at the top of the house, with executives who are active on a wide range of boards. It is also embraced by employees across the Company, who perform tens of thousands of volunteer hours each year.
FNB gives employees a chance to give back on the job, too, through “Denim Days.” Each month, employees are given the opportunity to wear blue jeans in exchange for a small donation to an organization on a rotating list of national and locally-based charities. It all adds up to a big difference for our communities.
At FNB, we believe that doing the right thing for our customers starts with making our communities even better places to live and work - and that the best way to do that is to get involved.
