Who is in the health fair?
Posted on Wednesday November 16 2016
"Umm, yes - who is exactly in the health fair and how do I find out?"One of the main questions we get asked by vendors is, "Who is in the health fair?" Meaning, which vendors were selected by the host to attend? As a vendor on Health Fair Connections (HFC), that's easy to figure out :)Make sure you're logged into HFC.Visit the health fair event page for the particular event you're inquiring about, and scroll below the details of the health fair. You'll see an interested tab and a registered tab.It will look like this:When you click the interested tab, you'll see all the vendors interested in...
Am I going to be the exclusive or ONLY vendor of my kind in the health fair?
Posted on Wednesday November 16 2016
As you might already know, Health Fair Connections (HFC) is a tech platform and not a third party health fair company. This means the host (aka HR and benefits team) at the organization/company has full control over the vendors they select to attend their health fair. So, we can't guarantee that another vendor with similar services is not selected. Not to worry, though! We let the host know it's not wise to pick multiple vendors that provide the same services (depending on the size of the health fair). And if they do, to not put those vendors next to each other. at the health fair.In all hon...

Health Fair Vendor Survey - Should I fill it out?Uh, yes… :) Health Fair Connections (HFC) vendor survey is 5 short questions, then there is a text box. Once you're finished, you'll be asked to rank HFC on a scale from 1-10. It takes less than 2 minutes. You'll receive credits for each survey you do - as of December 31st, so it's a no brainer to take 90-120 seconds to complete it... This data will be stored and you’ll have access to it for future health fairs to make decisions off of. We will attach that information to the company's address, this way if they have another health fair in the f...
Soliciting

Soliciting at the health fairBy soliciting at the health fair, we mean "No this-for-that".Here’s two examples of a vendor doing just that while speaking with an employee:“In order to receive a smoothy, you must first give us your email”“in order to get a free t-shirt, you must first give us your email.”So vendors, no “this for that”. Make sense?
How many employees will I see?
Posted on Saturday November 12 2016
Health Fair Employee TurnoutIt’s very rare you will see the total amount of employees onsite for a corporation or organization for their employee health fair. Here's two rules of thumb that will help you, as a vendor, know what to expect:Expect at least 35-40% percent turnout of employees at companies with over 100 total employees (100 + employees) Expect at least 50% - 75% turnout for companies with less than 100 employees (less than 100 employees)For the super large companies, say with 2000 employees onsite at their campus, expect a turnout of 20-30% (200-300) of employees to come through...
Can we provide flu shots?
Posted on Monday November 7 2016
Can we provide onsite flu shots during their health fair? The answer: It all depends on what the host is looking to have at their health fair.I know, that's not ideal. But you'll be happy to know that quite frequently, yes, they are looking for a provider that can offer onsite flu shots during their health fair. The first step would be to get on the list of interested vendors, fill out the form, and under "interactive offerings," enter in that you can provide flu shots during the health fairSee the pic below of a health fair event page. Health fair event pages are where you can join the list o...
I have a question about the companies insurance

I have a question about the companies insurance... How do I find out the answer to my question??As you can see above, the insurance information provided by the host is listed on the event page for that particular health fair. And if you're a medical, dental, vision provider (or any other provider that would usually accept insurance), you need to be in network (or at least accept) the hosting company's insurance. So, this wouldn't apply to the yoga studios, gyms, etc.. Usually, the insurance information provided by the host is not going to have policy specifics. And as a vendor, we understand y...
