WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

We believe that:
   * Doctors don't spend enough time with patients (the average nationally is 8
     minutes per visit).
   * Insurance companies have too much influence on how doctors practice
      medicine (doctors don't get paid unless they follow insurance
     company treatment guidelines).
   * Pharmaceutical companies have too much influence on how doctors practice
     medicine; 95% of what a physician learns after residency comes from
     pharmaceutical companies.
   * The foods we're eating are making us sick.
