Well-child checks allow a provider to track the development of the child. Each check provides an opportunity to measure progress and make sure they get the care they need to stay healthy. During a Well-child check your provider will use tools to check ears, nose, throat, lungs, and heart. Also, both visual and hearing test are performed during the well-child check. In addition, the provider will usually check the immunization record of the child to make sure the child's shots are up to date.
