SCREENING DESCRIPTION
BETWEEN 5 AND 10 PERCENT OF ALL CANCERS ARE CAUSED BY A GENETIC MUTATION.Here is the criteria we use to determine if a person should have CGx Testing.
We will only test patients that qualify.
You may be at an increased risk if:
•You, or any of your blood relatives have been diagnosed with Cancer
• Multiple relatives on the same side have been diagnosed with the same type of cancer
• You’ve ever had colon polyps
• You have relatives with multiple types of cancer
• You have several first-degree relatives that have been diagnosed with cancer (Mother, Father, Siblings)
•You, or any of your blood relatives have been diagnosed with Cancer
• Multiple relatives on the same side have been diagnosed with the same type of cancer
• You’ve ever had colon polyps
• You have relatives with multiple types of cancer
