Noninvasive Testing
Ø Doppler Ultrasound
A small ultrasound microphone called a Doppler is held over the vein to determine if a blood clot is present
Ø Duplex Scan
The test combines a Doppler microphone device with an image of the vessel of a TV-like screen. It is performed to detect a blood clot in a vein.The test is 15-20 minutes and helps to determine the risk of a stroke and heart attack in the future
